The Eco-psychology Model
In cases where sessions take place in person rather than online, Katarina offers clients the option of meeting outdoors instead of in an office, weather permitting. This could mean a walk in a city park, a visit to the beach, or a path in the forest – an easy, slow walk surrounded by nature, with opportunities to sit and pause. This model is based on the understanding of the many psychological and physiological benefits provided by the natural environment.
The “East Meets West” Model
The metaphor East meets West refers to the combination of methods originating in Eastern philosophies, such as the emphasis on the body-mind connection, mindfulness, and meditation practices – with methods developed within modern Western psychology, such as cognitive therapy. Katarina has been a supporter and practitioner of this model for many years. However, it is important to emphasize that all methods she applies within this model are science-based and delivered to her clients in such way.
How Does It Work?
Each session usually lasts one hour. Most sessions are conducted online, via video call. However, in-person meetings can also be arranged in advance, especially in Europe, where Katarina spends most of her time. Sessions are available in both English and Slovak, and are aimed at athletes, at any stage of their career. All sessions are confidential.
Katarina Lincz is an experienced and accredited coach, as well as a tutor of soft skills and scientifically based meditation practices.
